THE AUSTRALIAN SEA LION IS AT RISK OF EXTINCTION WITHIN OUR LIFETIME.
We cannot stand by and let this extraordinary species disappear forever.
The Australian sea lion population is estimated to be less than 12,000 individuals. In 2022 they were officially listed as an endangered species in Australia. The Australian Sea Lion Recovery Foundation is striving to raise the funds needed
to support those that continue to stand up and fight for this vital keystone species.

We need to provide safe spaces, away from fishing and human activities for sea lions to learn to thrive safely. |
The Australian Federal Government has not given any financial support to Australian sea lion research or monitoring for over 5 years. |
100% of donations go directly towards time-critical research in monitoring and sea lion protection. No funds are paid to the ASLRF directors. |
OUR GOALOur Australian sea lions are disappearing. Together, we can change that. |
